The Blaze Simulation has been created to help YOU fire safe your home. Our hope is to educate others on the Do's and Don'ts of living in a fire hazardous area which could be the difference between life and death. Not only does the simulation help you understand how to prepare your home and limit fuel sources, but also will increase your understanding of building material choices.

On August 19, 2015 Three United States Forest Service firefighters from the Methow Valley Ranger District were killed while fighting a fire in the Oakanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. This simulation is dedicated to the memory of Richard Wheeler, Andrew Zajac, and Thomas Nelson Zbyszewski. The choices we make regarding our property impact not just us, but those we ask to serve us in fighting a fire. Your choices can not only save your property but can also allow our firefighters to safely and successfully fight wildfires.
